7th Annual NHEA Convention
March 28 & 29, 2006
Leeward Community College

STUDENT FORUM

Purpose: Identify how student participants see their future and work towards creating a better one for themselves, their families and their communities.

Venue: The NHEA Convention is a two-day Convention. On the first day of the Convention, the students will participate in the general conference sessions with all of the other participants. On the second day there will have a separate general assembly and break out sessions for the high school students.

Schedule for Student Forum Day 2 (3/29/06):

9:20- 10:00 Talking Story with Kealii and Alohanani

small group breakouts – Relationships that exist and how it challenges in reaching their goals
11:20- 12:10 large group presentations
12:15-1:10 lunch
1:15 – 2:10 small group breakouts – How to build and utilize relationships to address challenges
2:15 – 2:45 big group presentations

3:00 -4:00 Ho’ike
